What brings you in?
A cold-water session is one option for easing muscle soreness after demanding exercise. Build it into your recovery plan alongside sleep, hydration and appropriate training.
Cold-water immersion research has documented a more active, alert and attentive feeling shortly after a session. This is a short-term change in perceived energy and mood.
Recovery research also reports reduced feelings of fatigue after exercise. Our team helps you plan a session around your comfort, experience and recovery goals.
The experience
Cold plunge is a brief immersion in cold water. The cold is an immediate, strong sensation, which makes this a very different experience from a warm bath or a swimming pool. At our Pinellas Park studio, you use a dedicated plunge tub in the enclosed sauna and cold plunge room.
Choose it when you want a short, invigorating experience with someone there to guide you. You do not need to be an athlete or have tried it before. There is no minimum time to reach.
Your first time
Tell us whether this is your first plunge. We review the intake and explain the tub, the entry and exit, and what to expect.
Your first session is supervised. Time in the water follows your comfort and experience; you can step out at any time. Experienced guests may stay up to 5 minutes.
Dry off with a provided towel and give yourself time before leaving. Let the team know how the session felt.

Research reports reduced post-exercise soreness and perceived fatigue with some cold-water protocols. Separate research reports short-term increases in self-reported alertness and positive mood. Results vary with temperature, exposure, activity and timing; some trials find no faster muscle recovery. Study protocols do not set your session length: beginners have no minimum time.
